Prison of Evin |
This evaluation was hard for me to read because I know thousands of innocent people are in prisons around the world who are treated inhumanly and tortured. I think that it is very sad that people are accused of going against the government and are put into Evin. Here in America part of our Bill of Rights is to be able to speak our mind about our government and our president. However, this is not the case for other countries around the world. This makes me grateful for being born in the America and it makes me realize how lucky I really am. It makes me sick to my stomach to read about the women and men who are tortured in the Evin prison because they are innocent and even if they weren’t the torture in inhumane. No person should ever have to endure what these people have gone through. I could not imagine one of my family members friends, or even myself going through the same experience. This would be a complete nightmare. I wish there was something I could do to help these people, but I know the situation is out of my hands.
